Custom t-shirts with no minimum: where to order just one
By the SizzlePop team · Published October 28, 2026 · Updated October 28, 2026 · We sell one of the shirts below (listed last).
You can order a single custom t-shirt from Sticker Mule, Printful, Custom Ink, Rush Order Tees, Zazzle, UberPrints and SizzlePop. Printful has the lowest published price (about $9 plus $4.95 US shipping). Sticker Mule ships one shirt free by 2-day shipping. If you have an idea but no design, Rush Order Tees and SizzlePop (ours, $45 shipped) make the artwork from your words.
The problem with ordering one shirt
Most print shops are set up for teams and events. Screen printing needs a screen for every color, so shops ask for 6, 12 or more shirts to spread the setup cost. If you want one shirt for a birthday, a joke or a test print, you end up with a quote form or a minimum you don't need.
Single shirts are printed digitally instead (direct-to-garment), which needs no setup. The sellers below all do that, so one shirt is a normal order. What changes between them is the price you can see up front, the shipping on one item, and whether you need your own artwork.
Price of one basic tee where the seller publishes a number, read October 28, 2026. Pink is shipping. Sticker Mule, Custom Ink, Rush Order Tees and UberPrints show the price for one only inside their calculators, so they are not on the chart.
What we found
Every seller here prints one shirt. The real differences are price, shipping on one item and design help.
Printful has the lowest published total: about $9 for the shirt plus $4.95 US shipping.
Free shipping on a single shirt: Sticker Mule (2-day), Rush Order Tees and SizzlePop. UberPrints is free only over $100; Zazzle only with Plus.
Only Rush Order Tees and SizzlePop make a design from your words. SizzlePop's $45 shirt is the most expensive here, with shipping included.
How we checked
We read each seller's own t-shirt, shipping and FAQ pages on October 28, 2026 and recorded six things: whether one shirt is allowed, the price for one, US shipping on one shirt, turnaround, design help, and whether the site makes a design from a description. If a page doesn't say, the table says "Not stated". The list is grouped by what each seller is best for; it is not a score. Prices change, so confirm at checkout.
7 places to order one custom t-shirt
1. Sticker Mule, best for free, fast shipping on a single shirt
One shirt: Yes · Price: Shown in the price calculator · Shipping: Free 2-day
The t-shirt page says you can "order one t-shirt at a time" and that shirts ship in 4 days with free 2-day shipping. Printing is full color on 100% ring-spun cotton. The page shows 25,759 reviews at 4.4 out of 5. The price for one shirt appears only in the calculator once you pick options.
Best suited for: Anyone with a finished design who wants one shirt at the door within about a week. Seller page
2. Printful, best for the lowest published price for one shirt
One shirt: Yes · Price: From about $9 · Shipping: $4.95 in the US
Printful is built for people who sell shirts online, but the page also has an "Ordering for myself" path and says there are no order minimums. Shirts "start at around $9", and US shipping for one shirt is $4.95 on its shipping page ($2.20 for each extra item). That makes about $14 for one basic tee before tax, the lowest total we could see.
Best suited for: Budget buyers with print-ready art who don't mind a store-style checkout. Seller page
3. Custom Ink, best for free help from a real designer
One shirt: Yes, on its no-minimum styles · Price: Quote tool · Shipping: Free standard shipping advertised; checkout shows the total
Custom Ink sells tees, sweatshirts and tanks you can order "from one to one thousand" with digital printing; other products and methods carry minimums. Its pages advertise free standard shipping and free one-on-one design support 7 days a week, but the no-minimum page says shipping is calculated at the end, so check the total before you pay.
Best suited for: People who want a person to look over the design before one shirt is printed. Seller page
4. Rush Order Tees, best for free shipping plus a free design tool
One shirt: Yes, printed tees · Price: Bulk prices shown (from $10.41 each for 50) · Shipping: Free on every order
Every printed tee is marked "No Minimum", and the page says free shipping comes with every custom order. Its free AI Design Wizard and AI logo generator make artwork from a description, and staff review artwork 7 days a week. The prices on the page are per shirt at 50 pieces (from $10.41), so the cost of one shows only once you build it.
Best suited for: Buyers who want free shipping and a quick design tool, and can wait for standard production. Seller page
5. Zazzle, best for ready-made templates you can edit
One shirt: Yes · Price: $15.98 (an adult tee on sale the day we checked) · Shipping: Extra (free with a Zazzle Plus membership)
Zazzle's FAQ says customers often order a single shirt to check the quality, and bulk discounts start at 11 shirts. Shirts take 3 business days to make, then 4 to 7 days by standard shipping. Free shipping is a Zazzle Plus membership perk, so a one-off order pays shipping.
Best suited for: Gift buyers who want to start from a template and change the name or date. Seller page
6. UberPrints, best for one shirt now, a team order later
One shirt: Yes, digital print · Price: Quote calculator · Shipping: Free over $100
UberPrints has a "No Minimum Tees" section ("Need just one custom tee? Start here.") printed digitally. Screen printing needs 12 pieces. Shipping is free on orders over $100, so a single shirt pays shipping.
Best suited for: Someone testing one shirt before a club or team order on the same site. Seller page
7. SizzlePop (ours), best for a shirt when you have an idea but no design
One shirt: Yes · Price: $45 ($48 for 2XL), shipping included · Shipping: Free in the US
You type an idea and our generator draws the design; previews are free. One Bella+Canvas 3001, 100% cotton tee costs $45 ($48 for 2XL) with free US shipping, printed to order in the USA, and you get a proof by email before it prints. Where we lose: it is the most expensive shirt here, the print is front only, and you can't upload your own art.
Best suited for: People buying one shirt as a gift or a joke who have the idea but not the artwork. Try the generator

Printify: No minimum, but it is a platform for selling shirts. Its "as low as $6" is a Premium-plan seller cost, and it says it does not offer free shipping.
CafePress: Its pages blocked our checks on October 28, so we could not confirm a price, minimum or shipping cost.

No design yet? Start from a sentence
Most no-minimum sites expect you to upload finished art. If all you have is the idea ("my dog as a 70s rock poster"), a design generator gets you to a printable file first.
That is what SizzlePop does: previews are free, and when you order we print one Bella+Canvas 3001 tee in the USA and ship it free. Rush Order Tees' AI Design Wizard is the other option on this list.
Questions
Can I order just one custom t-shirt?
Yes. All seven sellers on this page take an order for a single printed tee: Sticker Mule, Printful, Custom Ink (on its no-minimum styles), Rush Order Tees, Zazzle, UberPrints (digital print) and SizzlePop.
What is the cheapest way to get one custom t-shirt?
Of the prices sellers publish, Printful is lowest: shirts start at about $9, plus $4.95 US shipping, about $14 before tax. Zazzle listed an adult tee at $15.98 on sale on October 28, 2026, plus shipping. Sticker Mule, Custom Ink, Rush Order Tees and UberPrints show the price for one only in their calculators.
Which sites ship one custom shirt free?
Sticker Mule (free 2-day shipping), Rush Order Tees (free shipping on every order) and SizzlePop (free US shipping). Custom Ink advertises free standard shipping, but its no-minimum page says shipping is calculated at checkout. UberPrints is free over $100; Zazzle is free only with a Plus membership.
Why does one shirt cost more than a bulk order?
Bulk orders are usually screen printed, which needs a screen per color, so the setup is spread over many shirts. Single shirts are printed digitally (direct-to-garment), with no setup but a higher cost per shirt. UberPrints, for example, needs 12 pieces for screen printing and has no minimum on digital print.
How long does one custom t-shirt take to arrive?
Sticker Mule ships in 4 days with free 2-day shipping. Printful takes 2 to 5 business days to make and 3 to 4 to deliver in the US. Zazzle takes 3 business days to make plus 4 to 7 days standard. SizzlePop prints in 2 to 4 business days and arrives in about 5 to 8 business days.
What if I don't have a design?
Rush Order Tees has a free AI Design Wizard, and SizzlePop (ours) draws the design from a sentence, with free previews and a $45 shirt shipped free in the US. Zazzle has templates you can edit, and Custom Ink offers free help from its design team.
Have the idea but not the design?
Type it, see it on a tee, and order just one. $45 with free US shipping, printed in the USA, proof emailed before it prints.
